Jakson one year ago...fresh baby :)

I can't believe that my sweet boy is one already. This year has FLOWN by way too fast. This morning during my quiet time i was brought to tears thinking about how blessed josh and i have been with Jakson in our life. words can't even express how thankful i am for my sweet boy. he is such a joy to be around. he LOVES life and enjoys it to its fullest. jakson ALWAYS has a smile on his face. it amazes me how many people always comment on how happy and smiley he is. he loves people. i swear the boy knows no strager.

Here is what you are up to at 1 year...

- you are in size 3 pampers...next box we buy I am going to move up to 4's i think

- you are in 12/18 month clothes

- you weighed 22 lbs at your last sick visit

- you took your first 2 steps last night. You have taken more steps but only two at a time. You get so excited and then get up on your tippy toes and fall :)

- you always stick your toungue out when you are playing with toys or crawling

- you are totally on whole milk and loving it

- you always want what anyone you are around is eating or drinking

- you love all food. the only thing that you are spitting out right now is broccoli, oh well!

- you have started putting remotes or phones up to your ear and saying hello. it is so cute!

- you still only have two adorable bottom teeth but i can see the top ones are about to come in

- you just had your first ear infection this month and are now doing breathing treatments for atleast a week. you are not a fan :(

i love you baby and i am so excited for this weekend! Tonight your mimi and pop are coming over for a yummy birthday dinner. Then tomorrow your Gran and Pop-E are coming in town to stay with us for a couple of days. Then Saturday is your birthday party and all of your family and friends will be there to celebrate with you :) We can't wait to celebrate your first year of your beautiful life...I LOVE YOU!
