so today i turned the big 2-5. it is amazing to me to think back to when i was in high school. i remember always saying, "by 25 i want to married and have kids." and look at me..married to an amazing man. we have a beautiful baby boy and another munchkin on the way. i am so, so thankful. that is pretty much all that i have thought about today. i have been blessed with an amazing family and amazing friends. i am so grateful for the true friendships in my life. so that is the word that i would describe today with...thankful.
josh gave me my birthday/christmas present last night. that boy loves me, i tell you what. when we bought our camera during the summer we said it was my Christmas present. but he surprised me and let me pick out a new lens for my camera for birthday and christmas present. such a sweetie :) so i picked out the Canon 35mm f/2 lens. and i LOVE it. here is jaks and i after i got it all set up...
we haven't done much today. i have done some dishes and tidied up a little around the house but for the most part i just hung out with my boy and relaxed. oh and i went for a walk/jog on the treadmill. and took some pictures in the backyard of my little guy with my awesome new lens. check em' out :)

Josh came home from work with some beautiful roses for me...he is so good :) then we headed out to dinner. 
they took me to my favorite place to eat in Cartersville, Appalachian Grill. YUM!! It was a great night with my boys. a perfect ending to the perfect day!
p.s--
tonight at dinner jakson did so great. flirting with every waitress, of course, but was just loving a night out with mom and dad. Well then i let him drink some of my water and it was all over bc then he wants to hold it and i wouldn't let him, so he threw a fit and just snowballed from there...
so we started to get all packed up and got the check to get out of these before he annoyed everyone in this fancy little restaurant. Well there was this little elderly couple was sitting across from us and the lady stopped me and said, "you aren't leaving, are you??" and i explained that we were trying to get out of there since he was crying and she said, "i wish you would stay. We are grandparents and we love that sound!" how sweet!! i just loved that. most people will give you dirty looks, so it was so comforting to hear someone say that! i just wanted to hug her :)

Silly boy!
Also, you can't tell in this picture but jakson finally got some front teeth! They are so cute poking out!
The stomach bug is making it's way through our house :( praying it passes quickly. Thankfully my worst point was while jakson was sleeping. I feel like I'm getting better. Looks like it's going to be a day inside with my guys.

4 months along with baby #2 and Jakson's first public meltdown
So i am officially 16 weeks pregnant...
How far along? 16 weeks (4 months)
Total weight gain/loss? at my 15 week appointment i had gained 4 lbs, which takes me back to 2 lbs since i had lost 2 the last month!
Maternity clothes? Nope but i am running out of jeans that fit me and i can't find my belly bands anywhere...erggg! (i think i accidentally gave them to goodwill)
Stretch marks? nope.
Sleep? great!
Best moment last week? Going to the doctor and hearing my sweet baby's heartbeat
Movement? Nope, but i felt Jakson's first flutters at 16 weeks so i am hoping to feel them soon!
Food cravings? sweet tea and chick-fil-a :)
Gender? We find out in 3 weeks...woohoooo!!
Labor signs? Nope
Belly button in/out? In
What I miss: sleeping on my belly
What I am looking forward to: hopefully feeling some movement soon and finding out what we are having!

So my fun story of the night...
Jakson had his first official public meltdown tonight. it was one of those moments where i just had to pretend that people weren't staring at me and just continue to eat my delicious soup and salad.
Here is the story...my twin sister and i decided to take the kiddos to dinner at Panera Bread tonight. It started out all fine..we even saw some people we knew who were commenting on how sweet and cute our kids were. Well we sat down to eat and Jakson got mad at me for not letting him play with his juice box and making him eat his food, then he wanted colton's food and colton's chocolate milk and needless to say he was screaming and there was nothing i could do to stop him. then colton got upset bc jakson was stealing his milk...ash and i just looked at eachother and said, "maybe we should just leave." I poke my head out of the booth and I just see faces staring at me and giving me the 'get your sreaming child out of here look.' So we left...with my screaming child in hand. haha, what a night :)
I know what your thinking-- how could this sweet face be screaming crying, hah. ohh he has it in him :)

Christmas time is here!
I am sooo excited that it is December, my most favorite month :) Get to spend time with my man, my little man, family and friends!
Here are some pics I took of Jakson Wednesday night while we waited on daddy to get home from work. He loves the Christmas lights and Christmas tree!
Don't make fun of our Charlie Brown tree this year, haha. we decided to save some money
this year and just use the fake one that Josh had in the attic. But don't worry...my pine candle from Bath and Body Works is still giving me my awesome pine scent. i love that thing!
and YES, he is walking! standing up on his own and walking from couch to toy, and even walking clear across the room.
He is getting so confident and LOVING it. he just does it on his own. and if he falls, he gets right back up and trys again. he just has a huge grin on his face as he does it. but of course, if he wants get somewhere fast, he crawls, haha. my guess is he will be a total walker by the end of this week. (daddy watched him last night while i was at my women's bible study, and said that he was standing up in the middle of the room by himself with out anything to lean on and walking. and now he is doing it for me this morning. i just cried as he did it for the first time. my boy is growing up!!)
and our CHRISTMAS CARDS CAME!! i love love love them :) now i just have to address them. bummer, hah. i think i will be doing that this weekend and get them out on monday. i was like a little kid waiting on them the other day. whenever i heard something that could be a delivery truck i would run to the window, hah.
we had my OB appt yesterday. i had an incredibly stressful morning, and i just knew that my bp would be through the roof. on the way to the appt (after almost being run off the road by an oversize load truck going 85mph down the highway) i just gave it all to the Lord. i knew he was in control and just asked him to take care of the situation. i got to my appt and my bp was 106/72!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! i asked the lady if the cuff was broken, hah. PRAISE THE LORD :)
results from the appt- i'm 15 weeks, everything looks great. bp- great! weight, i have gained 2 lbs. we heard the sweet heart beat, and that sound never gets old.
we find out DECEMBER 30TH if we will be having a precious girl or another sweet little boy. I CAN'T EVEN WAIT. sooo eeeeeexxxccited!!
